The Department of Legal Disciplines was established in February 2012 to provide high-quality instruction in legal subjects and to conduct research in the field of law.

The legal profession has always been in high demand. Law and jurisprudence are the foundation of the formation and strengthening of the state. Lawyers and legal experts are the guardians of order, justice, and the rule of law in modern society.

The work of a legal professional combines analytical skills, practical application of national and international law, and the ability to effectively use modern legal tools. It requires a high level of professional culture, responsibility, and expertise.

A legal professional should be able to:

  • interpret and apply laws and other regulatory acts;

  • correctly qualify actions, facts, and circumstances;

  • make legal decisions and perform other legal actions in full compliance with the law;

  • draft and formalize legal documents, as well as provide qualified opinions and consultations.

The Department of Legal Disciplines trains professionals who are ready to work responsibly and effectively in the legal field, protect the rights and interests of citizens, and actively contribute to the development of Ukrainian and international legal science.
