Student Ombudsman of the Kherson Institute of MAUP
The Student Ombudsman (authorized representative for student rights) is an official responsible for protecting the rights and freedoms of students and providing qualified assistance in resolving issues that arise during the educational process.
The Student Ombudsman is elected by the Student Council for a term of 2 years from among its members.

Main responsibilities of the Student Ombudsman:
Prevent violations of students’ rights and freedoms and assist in their restoration
Ensure the accessibility and transparency of the Student Ombudsman Office according to the reception schedule
Review student applications and take measures to restore their rights
Conduct independent, impartial, and confidential consideration of applications
Inform students about the results of issues reviewed by the Institute’s Ethical Expert Commission
Report annually to the Academic Council and Student Council on completed work, with the report published on the Institute’s website
Perform other duties established by regulations or arising from the Ombudsman’s powers

The Institute operates a Trust Box, intended for submissions from students, faculty, and staff regarding violations of rights, ethical standards, or other problematic issues.
The Trust Box guarantees confidentiality and timely response from the Institute administration to all received messages.
