Scientific and methodological work is an essential component of the educational process, aimed at improving the quality of specialist training through a comprehensive approach to enhancing the content, organization, and teaching methods.
The Scientific and Methodological Council (SMC) of the Kherson Institute of MAUP is an advisory body that:
Monitors, analyzes, and plans educational and methodological work
Coordinates the activities of departments and other structural units of the Institute
Develops recommendations for improving the educational process
Promotes the achievement of high educational standards in accordance with European norms and best international practices
The SMC serves as a collective expert on all matters related to educational and scientific-methodological activities at the Institute. Its purpose is to organize, coordinate, and oversee methodological work to ensure a high level of specialist training in line with regulatory requirements.
Developing the Institute’s methodological strategy within the European educational context
Coordinating the development of higher education standards as part of the Ukrainian national standards system
Organizing methodological work and ensuring its compliance with higher education standards and accreditation requirements
Improving the organization and teaching methods of academic disciplines
Implementing best practices in methodological work, developing external relations with other educational institutions, and enhancing faculty professional skills
Determining directions for improving the content, forms, methods, and tools of teaching
Developing recommendations to enhance the quality of the educational process
Implementing innovative teaching methods and modern technologies
Improving educational and methodological support
Supporting the continuous professional development of academic staff
Generalizing and disseminating best methodological practices from national and international institutions
Creating and maintaining a unified methodological system at the Institute
Presenting best practices in methodological and pedagogical activities of the Institute’s staff
