The Academic Council of Kherson Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (MAUP) is a collegial governing body of the Institute, responsible for strategic management of educational, scientific, and organizational activities.
In its activities, the Academic Council is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine “On Education” and “On Higher Education,” the MAUP Charter, the Regulations on Kherson Institute of MAUP, and other regulatory legal acts.
Main tasks of the Academic Council:
Defining the main directions for the development of educational, scientific, and innovative activities of the Institute;
Reviewing and approving educational programs and curricula;
Making decisions regarding the organization of the educational process;
Reviewing the results of research work and implementing them into practice;
Conferring academic titles and recommending incentives for scientific and pedagogical staff;
Considering matters of the Institute’s personnel policy;
Approving internal regulations and normative documents.
Composition of the Academic Council:
The Academic Council includes the Director of the Institute, their deputies, heads of structural units, leading scientific and pedagogical staff, as well as representatives of student self-government in accordance with current legislation.
The personal composition of the Academic Council is approved by the order of the MAUP Rector.
Organization of work:
Meetings of the Academic Council are held according to the approved work plan, usually at least once per semester. Decisions of the Academic Council are enacted by orders of the Institute Director and are mandatory for implementation.
