The Department of Economics and Management is a specialized department offering education for the specializations "Management" and "Economics". In the process of preparing specialists, we aim to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, while also focusing on developing their cognitive potential, creativity, and professional abilities, with an emphasis on self-education.

The educational plans ensure the creation of a solid foundation for specialists, maintaining a balance between fundamental and specialized courses, combining mandatory and elective disciplines, and emphasizing continuous practical training.

Scientific and Pedagogical Work of the Department

  • Development of Educational and Methodical Materials: This includes working programs, syllabi for courses, practice programs, textbooks, and methodical guidelines.

  • Individual Consultation for Students: Our faculty offers consultations to enhance students' preparation and help them discover their individual talents.

  • Organization of Student Scientific Society: The department coordinates the student scientific community, encouraging active participation in research and conferences.

  • Annual Student Scientific Conferences: These conferences provide a platform for students to present their research and exchange ideas.

The goal of the department is to prepare highly qualified specialists who are competitive both in the domestic and global job markets. Structure of the Educational Process
The curriculum for preparing specialists in management and economics is designed to meet the requirements of the educational programs developed according to the national standards of education. These programs are also informed by the latest domestic and international practices.

The faculty of the Department of Economics and Management consists of highly educated professionals who hold academic degrees and titles, and possess substantial practical and scientific experience. This enables them to effectively guide students in scientific work, and contribute to a significant amount of educational and methodical activities. The faculty is committed to adhering to global standards of education, actively enhancing the content of the curriculum to meet modern demands, and implementing innovative technologies and methods.

Practical Experience for Students
To gain practical skills in their chosen field, students undertake industrial and pre-graduation internships at businesses, organizations, and institutions in both production and non-production sectors. During these internships, students consolidate and expand their theoretical knowledge, while mastering skills and tools necessary for their future careers.

Scientific Activities of the Department
The scientific activity of the department is focused on fundamental research, particularly in the following areas:

  • "Mechanisms for the Development of Innovative Management Methods and Models in the Context of Ukraine's Digital Economy" (supervised by Dr. N.P. Novak).

  • "Financial Support for Business Activities in the Face of Global Challenges" (supervised by Assoc. Prof. I.I. Zhuk).

Faculty members regularly undergo internships both within Ukraine and abroad, publish research papers, and are involved in international research projects. They also prepare monographs and contribute to national and international scientific journals, including those indexed in Scopus.

Student Scientific Circle
The student scientific circle "Economics and Management in the 21st Century" is dedicated to deepening students' understanding of the subjects taught. Members of this circle are also involved in scientific projects, organizing and conducting annual scientific events.
